Quotations are valid for 7 (seven) days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
No additional repairs or replacement of parts will be carried out without the customer’s prior authorisation, except where necessary for safety or to prevent further damage.
Full payment is due on completion of repairs and before the vehicle is released, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed to in writing.
Ownership of all parts fitted to the vehicle remains the property of Menlyn Repairs & Services until payment has been received in full.
Vehicles not collected within 7 (seven) days after notification that repairs have been completed may be subject to a storage fee of R150.00 per day.
The customer authorises Menlyn Repairs & Services to road test the vehicle where necessary to diagnose faults, verify repairs, or ensure vehicle safety.
Workmanship on minor work is warranted for 6 (six) months or 10,000 km, whichever occurs first, provided the vehicle has been used under normal operating conditions.
Workmanshop on major work is warranted for 1 (one) year or 20,000 km, whichever occurs first, provided the vehicle has been used under normal operating conditions.
Parts supplied are covered only by the manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty. Warranty claims are subject to the supplier’s inspection and approval.
No warranty applies to: * Customer-supplied parts. * Normal wear and tear. * Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, overheating, or failure to maintain the vehicle. * Related components that fail after the original repair.
Menlyn Repairs & Services shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from repairs or delays beyond its reasonable control.
The customer confirms that they are authorised to approve repairs and accept responsibility for all charges incurred.
Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Acceptance of the quotation, signing of the job card, electronic approval, or delivery of the vehicle to Menlyn Repairs & Services constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
